CIP’s proprietary chelation-based process provides a non-toxic, non-corrosive, and biodegradable alternative to traditional mineral-acid passivation and aggressive chemical cleaning methods. Unlike generic “one-size-fits-all” treatments, every application is tailored to the specific alloy, surface condition, fabrication history, and operating environment of each stainless steel system. This customized approach is designed to remove free iron contamination, restore chromium-rich passive layers, reduce rouge and biofilm risks, and help systems meet and exceed ASTM A967 passivation standards without damaging stainless steel surfaces.
